About Us
Our Family
My name is Cheri and above is me and my beautiful
family! I live just south of Brinkley, Arkansas on the
farm near my parents and brothers. I live here with my
22 year old son and our 3 dogs. I work full time for
the State of Arkansas and my son works on our
family's farm.
These are my parents, they live right next door and
are a tremendous help with all the dogs. My dad, Joe,
raised cattle and pigs for years so all of his knowledge
and experience is a big help! My mother, Gladys, could
work circles around me and my daughter both. The
puppies stay at her house while they are little where
she can keep a close eye on them and the mother. She
makes sure they are growing, eating thriving and most
importantly CLEAN!! The dogs and puppies are so great
for my parents, it really gives them both something to
keep them busy and it keeps us all really close.
And last but certainly not least my daughter, Lindsie
and her family. She is the one who talked us all into
this wonderful adventure. She does all the research,
website, e-mails and correspondence, vet
appointments...she keeps us all in the know of what all
is going on and what all needs to be done. She pretty
much helps with everything, but the "gross" parts! Her
husband, Chris is a wonderful with teaching the bigger
dogs about manners and a few tricks. He is always
there to help with any "man work" if we need him. And
Finally, My grandson, Berghan. He
makes sure all the puppies are loved and played with
daily. He does not always forgive us for selling "his"
puppies but knows they are for other boys and girls
like him!
Why a Skinner Doodle?
Our dogs are a part of our family. They are raised in a very close environment and the whole family, 4
generations, care for each dog on a daily basis. We carefully examine the health and temperament of each
dog before breeding. We know everything about each one of their personalities. Puppies are whelped and
raised on the farm and at my daughter's house. Our puppies are closely socialized with children, cats and
other dogs throughout the time they live with us. Our dogs are not “kenneled” during the day, they are
free to roam the fields and land under close supervision. You won’t see many of those cutesy dog pictures
on our website because our dogs are free to dig in the dirt, play in the muddy rice fields and hunt small
critters and just be happy healthy dogs! The puppies, however are whelped and remain in the house with us
until they are 5 weeks, then they are introduced to their own yard to play and get familiar with potty
training and learn other basic commands. And last but not least, once a Skinner Doodle Always a Skinner
Doodle. We believe as a responsible breeder our job does not end when our puppies “leave the nest.” We
will be there through out the pup’s life for any questions, support and always as a friend. One of the
greatest parts of raising Labradoodles is hearing how they brighten the lives of everyone who meets them.
